December 15, 2010 Holiday – Bill of Rights Day in US

Bill of Rights Day is a civic holiday in US that declares the country’s commitment to fundamental human rights to the whole world. The Bill of Rights is the name of the first ten amendments to the US Constitution, that were introduced by James Madison to the First United States Congress and came into effect on December 15, 1791.
