December 24, 2010 Holiday – Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is the eve of Christmas Day, one of the most significant and widely observed holiday in the world. People from different countries celebrate Christmas Eve in different ways. In some cultures Christmas Eve is celebrated with traditional Christmas meals with the family. Many people attend special services held in churches. Others organize groups of singers who go Christmas caroling from door to door, or sing Christmas carols in public venues. Night time on Christmas Eve is a very exciting time for both children and adults. Family members exchange and open their Christmas gifts and children hang their stockings waiting for gifts from Santa Claus.
