January 19, 2011 Holiday – Tu Bishvat in Israel

Tu Bishvat is  a Jewish holiday, celebrated on the 15th day of the Jewish month of Shevat, that marks the beginning of a “New Year for Trees.” On this day people plant trees and eat dried fruit and nuts.
