September 12, 2011 Holiday – Mid-Autumn Festival in China

Mid-Autumn Festival is an ancient traditional holiday in China, it’s observed  when the moon is the brightest, which usually occurs in September or October. Also called Moon Festival, this event is a time for family reunions. Chinese families gather together to enjoy a festive meal, the full moon and share traditional Mooncakes pastries.
