September 29, 2011 Holiday – Rosh Hashanah in Israel

Rosh Hashanah is a New Year celebration in Israel observed according to Hebrew calendar which commemorates the creation of a man. Rosh Hashanah is a big holiday which is celebrated by all Jewish population. The most important traditions of the day is visiting synagogue and having a traditional meal including apple and honey, the symbol of  Rosh Hashanah.
