October 28, 2011 Holiday – Ochi Day in Greece

Ochi Day is a public holiday in Greece which commemorates the resistance of the Greek people against the Nazi invasion of Italy during the World War II. Annually, on October, 28 various parades, special church services and other patriotic events are held to commemorate the occasion.
