February 10, 2013 Holiday – Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is the longest and most important traditional holiday in China also in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.  The festival celebrating wealth and prosperity is observed for 15 days starting in the early months of the lunar calendar. During Chinese new year people organize reunion dinners, honor elderly members of the family, use firecrackers and exchange Chinese New Year Gifts.
