September 2, 2013 Holiday – Labor Day in USA

Annually observed on the first Monday of each September for over one hundred years Labor Day in the United States is one of the major holidays. Labor Day weekend usually takes three days and its a perfect time for everyone to enjoy last summer days, going on trips, spending time with family, friends, and attending various public and sporting events.

An annual celebration of American workers and their achievements, Labor Day was initiated by the labor movement in 1882 during the Industrial Revolution in the US. To this day the holiday has preserved its significance and appreciation of people.
