November 28, 2013 Holiday – Thanksgiving Day

The second most popular family holiday in US after Christmas, Thanksgiving Day is annually celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.

Thanksgiving is the day to spend with family members and close friends, exchange gifts, express gratitude to the loved ones for their support and give thanks to God for all His blessings in the past year. The highlight of the holiday is a big festive meal featuring roast turkey, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and other traditional side dishes.

Which gifts for Thanksgiving to choose?

The most appropriate Thanksgiving Day gifts are gourmet. A gift basket filled with savory treats, fruit or sweets will be the most welcome. Good wine, cake or holiday flower arrangement is also a great choice for your friend, family member or business associate. Just make sure your gift is big enough to treat all recipients and choose something you think they will appreciate the most.
